The Single fold wheelchair Ramp from Prairie View Industries is easy to handle and set up, and lighter than any of the current competitors wheelchair ramps. The ramp folds in the middle and has a convenient carrying handle (except SFW230) which allows it to be carried like a suitcase. The ramps unfolds to a 30 inch wide platform that is ideal for wheelchairs and scooters with three or four wheels or any other wheeled equipment you can imagine. These single fold ramps are the lightest weight wheelchair ramps on the market. Other features include all aluminum construction and high traction tape on the surface. The weight capacity is 600 pounds. You can expect quick delivery by UPS of this stock item. Custom widths are available.

These ramps stay their full length and fold down the middle to accommodate ease of storage, however, the longer the ramp you need the more cumbersome they are to transport. We recommend these ramps for steps with 2-10 inch rise. Click here to learn more about ramp rise. When a ramp over 5 feet in length is needed, Multifold Ramps, should be considered. For example, a 5 foot single fold wheelchair ramp being carried is 5 feet long and weighs 22 pounds, where as a 5 foot multifold wheelchair ramp is only 2.8 feet long and weighs al little more at 30 pounds. Multifold ramps are much easier to carry, store in a vehicle, and maneuver in tight places.
